Grassroots to Champions is proud to produce annually two choreography competitions, YAS and Q4C, to promote creativity in the sport and provide opportunity to emerging young choreographers of all ages.
Quest for Creativity serves as a gateway for talented young artists to prepare themselves to participate in YAS by creating an original, out-of-the-box short skating program with no restrictions.
Winners of Q4C in each category receive $300.

There are two divisions according to birthday on May 1, 2018- Grassroots age 15 and under, Champions age 16 and up.
Deadline to enter May 1, 2018. Last day to post video May 23, 2018 winners announced May 31, 2018.
Your piece has a 2:40- time limit…and there are no other restrictions!

The winning choreographer in each division receives $300.
Young Artists Showcase fosters and encourages emerging choreographers by giving them experience creating new work with an emphasis on artistry through a series of challenges and guidance from an expert panel of artists, fellow skaters, and professional choreographers.
Winners of YAS each year receive a monetary award and the opportunity for their work to be performed at a prestigious venue such as the Rockefeller Center, NYC.
